In order to pay the eductation of former bodyguard Richard Davis's 3 children, his sister Debi has decided to transfer her home movie of Elvis on DVD. Davis passed away last August, with little to no money in the bank. The unseen footage is from an 8 mm film that was taken when Elvis was on location filming "Roustabout". Elvis, some of his friends, and bodyguards are on it. The copyrights have always been owned by the Davis family. More info when we have it.

This is the future of unseen footage to come.

There must be many 8mm films in the hands of those that shot it.

We saw how many of Joe Espositos were aquired by EPE and used.
In more recent times some of Lamar Fikes 8mm films have been seen, and I'm sure there's more to come from that source.

I wish Richard had shared this with us while he was alive and could have contributed to the narration of it from the benefit of first hand knowledge.

Where is the best place to get the Esposito footage?

And where has the Fike footage been released?

As far as I know the Esposito footage was secured by EPE, so when they release something these days of a private 8mm source it could have been Espositos.

Lamar Fike had some of the 68 Hawaii clips and .....I can't recall the other one I saw, but it was on the program featuring Sonny, Lamar and Billy and narrated by Johnny Walker on BBC TV a couple of years ago. i wouldn't have known whose footage it was on the screen but Johnny Walker stated that the clips were from private footage of Lamar Fike.
